Who can join us

Anyone who is aged of sixteen (16) and fulfils the requirements of the Common Bond i.e. live or work in Newham, can become a member of the Credit Union. Members must be eighteen (18) years or over to take out a loan with the Credit Union or to become Directors or Officers of the Credit Union.

Where an individual has not yet attained the age of sixteen (16), he/she may be admitted as a Junior Saver.

Other than the restrictions mentioned above, membership of the Credit Union is open to anyone regardless of race, politics, gender, religion or age.
